Daniel CajasDaniel originally studied Business at LaGuardia, but his transition into the Fine Arts program helped him find comfort not only in his work but also in aspects of his identity that he felt he could not nurture previously. “The paintings are about myself, about who I am. Some paintings are related to LGBT community, oppression . . . how it is to be a Latino person.” He has exhibited his work on the LaGuardia campus, and after graduation plans to continue his education in Arts Administration.
